‘For the first time, merchants in German-speaking Europe can now keep an eye on their payment transactions with real-time review. In doing so, the new Concardis Payengine simplifies, among other things, the process of accepting payments in advance and via invoice. This saves merchants time and effort. And the consumer benefits from shorter delivery times with the same payment convenience they’re accustomed to,’ says Christoph Jung, Vice President of the eCommerce Competence Center at Concardis. ‘The new Payengine marks the first time that the various rules of the individual payment methods have been brought together into a single and uniform structure. The payment service provider plans to have short intervals between update releases for the new Payengine. The platform is expected to be connected to the company’s own POS network by 2018, which would enable stationary integration of POS operations. From this point, users of the e-commerce platform enter the world of true omnichannel sales. Concardis Payengine already brings e- and m-commerce together into one invoicing channel.
The specialists of the eCommerce Competence Center at Concardis will be presenting the individual features of the e-commerce platform on 13 and 14 September at the digital marketing exposition and conference (dmexco) in Cologne.
