The new firmware update means that almost all Micro and Slio CPUs are Profinet-compatible and can therefore be easily integrated into existing Profinet networks. In addition, all Micro and Slio CPUs have been equipped with an integrated web server, which allows up-to-date visualization via smartphone & Co.
These CPUs therefore offer a wide range of new applications and enable customers to set themselves apart from the competition.
The firmware update required for the respective CPU is available as firmware V2.4.9 on the Vipa homepage.
