The new integrated DSC distress call functionality guarantees alerting of the mothership within seconds via the VHF radio aboard. Up to 8 different vessel MMSI’s can be programmed via Bluetooth connection into the new easyONE-DSC-CL. Only a smartphone and the free-of-charge Weatherdock app is needed.
In combination with the transmitted AIS data including current GPS position, course and speed over ground and the unit-ID of the AIS MOB all vessels in the vicinity of up to 7 nautical miles are able to assist the closed group of the pre-programmed vessels with the rescue.
A very bright and strong red LED flare gives the new easyONE-DSC-CL the perfect finish. The Flare will increase the visibility of the victim especially in darkness or bad weather condition enormously for miles.
"Our main target is to make rescue missions at sea as easy and fast as possible with our products" says Weatherdock CEO Alfred Kotouczek-Zeise. He continues:" Every wasted second can make the difference between saving or loosing a life".
