The new GRC solution by GBTEC – presented for the first time at the Process Days 2018

International regulations as well as legal demands have considerably sharpened in the last years. Companies face the big challenge to conform with the ever-changing legislation and new Compliance guidelines. It is also important to minimize the threats of non-conformity to regulations with a company-spanning Risk Management. To cope with the complexity of these tasks, a close cooperation between the organizational fields of Corporate Governance, Risk Management and Compliance Management is necessary.

The BPM solution BIC by GBTEC contains a comprehensive module for the modeling of an Internal Control System (ICS), enabling its numerous users to successfully organize their organizational risks. Consequently developing new solutions for its software, GBTEC rose up to the challenge of enhancing the BPM-suite BIC Cloud with a powerful workflow engine for the automatization of GRC processes. With the new solution, already successfully implemented at customers of various sectors, the full circle of an Internal Control System (ICS) from the identification to the analysis up to the control and surveillance of business risks is modeled and protocoled supported by a workflow engine. The systematic compliance with the regulation necessitates risk-oriented measure management, it is thus in close relation to the requirements of GRC.
