• Arvato Systems back at IBC, this year in Hall 3, Stand B38
  • This year’s focus is on Video Editing and Advertising solutions
  • Streaming integration with Adobe Premiere Pro CC

IBC is here again, and Arvato Systems is joining forces with Vidispine to showcase video editing and advertising solutions in Hall 3, Stand B38. Highlights include a new browser-based video editor, exciting new VPMS EditMate functionality, as well as profit-enhancing targeted advertising solutions. Arvato Systems has more than two decades of experience in providing innovative software solutions to the media & entertainment industry, covering the complete value chain with Asset Management, Program & Rights Management, Content Monetization, and Digital Experience tools.

The “video explosion” is driving an increasing need for editing and delivering video content. Content owners and broadcasters looking to retain and grow their audiences need to provide their production teams with fast tools efficiently creating and publishing high quality content, irrespective of location or connectivity. This IBC, Arvato Systems is showcasing a “full stack” solution for video editing across the enterprise.

MediaEditor will be top of the must-see list for many. The new, HTML 5-based software enables simple edits and other functions such as voice over and graphic overlays – while running in a browser. Low speed connections are no problem for the advanced, MPEG-DASH compliant VPMS streaming engine, and tight integration with the Arvato Systems Video Production Management Suite (VPMS) is a given.

Work anywhere
Mobility will be a hot topic at IBC again this year, as remote production and collaboration across multiple locations become the new normal.  Previewed at NAB and now available at IBC, new VPMS EditMate functionality streams high-quality, full HD video directly into Adobe® Premiere® Pro CC, part of Adobe Creative Cloud, for editing and finishing. With this functionality, the editor has the full-client experience she needs – but with a fraction of the bandwidth requirements. Lower speed, even mobile, connections are supported, providing a truly location-agnostic solution and allowing facilities to reduce their own infrastructure overhead. At-source rendering frees clients up to move onto other projects: saving time and improving productivity.

Targeted advertising on all platforms, even linear
The Arvato Systems digital-first, cross-platform ad-sales solutions have enabled broadcasters around the world to control the reach and frequency of adverts to execute highly targeted – and remunerative – campaigns. For IBC 2018, Arvato Systems brings the best of online and digital advertising to classic linear TV – still providing strong revenues for broadcasters and security for advertisers – with BMS AdStore and BMS S4AdOpt. Alongside metadata-driven automated scheduling with BMS Avatega, visitors to the stand will also be able to see how placement optimization algorithms in BMS S4AdOpt can now also be applied to promos, increasing viewer numbers and providing further revenue opportunities for our customers.

Media Supply Chain by Vidispine
Tomorrow’s media supply chain will not look like yesterday’s, or even today’s. Any company wanting to compete in a rapidly changing media landscape must be able to adapt to the evolving environment, both from a technology and a business point-of-view. Use the Vidinet media service platform as a base on which to build flexible and cost-effective media supply chains. Users can choose to enable only the services needed, as and when required. The Vidinet cost prediction API gives you full cost control in every step and can be used to manually or automatically make decisions that maximize your ROI.

About Vidispine
Since 2009, Vidispine has enabled the media industry to solve their most complex challenges when it comes to building data-driven, cloud-based media supply chain and media asset management solutions. Vidispine has commoditized media asset management on a platform allowing companies in any industry to build customized media supply chains and media applications. www.vidispine.com
