“BT Stemmer strengthens us in a critical business area as network competence is becoming increasingly important for hybrid cloud architectures. BT Stemmer has a wealth of experience in this field and is a reliable, well-established IT partner for a multitude of companies and public-sector clients. We are especially pleased to welcome almost 160 highly qualified specialists to the Bechtle Group”, says Michael Guschlbauer, COO, IT Systems Integration and Managed Services, Bechtle AG. BT Stemmer serves around 850 customers in the implementation of both national and international projects.
In addition to matching portfolios, a harmonious corporate culture was also a factor in the merger for both parties. “We very quickly discovered great similarities in our values and corporate culture. BT Stemmer and Bechtle are entrepreneurial, decisive, customer-oriented, reliable and pragmatic — ideal conditions for rapid integration,” says Michael Guschlbauer.
“Joining Bechtle will give our customers access to an enhanced portfolio and expertise, while they can maintain their regular contacts at BT Stemmer. In addition, this move will offer great opportunities for BT Stemmer’s employees. This is the start of an exciting new chapter in the BT Stemmer story”, says Henning Heimann, managing director for sales & marketing at BT Stemmer.
“We are delighted that BT Stemmer is joining Bechtle,” says Bas Burger, CEO Global Services, BT. “This is great news for the customers and employees of BT Stemmer as the deal will deliver continuity and opportunities for growth. It is also great news for BT as it carries out a strategy focusing its global resources on the network, cloud and security needs of a defined set of 800 multinational companies.
