• Arvato Systems expands its multicloud offer
  • Partnership with Google Cloud opens up new opportunities and adds value to Arvato Systems’ broad infrastructure and SAP migrations expertise.

Arvato Systems is now an official Google Cloud Platform (GCP) partner, thereby expanding its multi-cloud portfolio through the Google Cloud services. Customers now benefit from the technological advantages and innovations of the Google Cloud platform, the many years of experience of Arvato Systems in the field of infrastructure and operations, and the migration of SAP systems to the public cloud.

As part of its multicloud strategy, with this new partnership Arvato Systems is expanding its portfolio by collaborating with one of the leading global cloud providers. As part of this initiative, several engineers from Arvato Systems have already been certified as Google Cloud architects with more training planned. “Through the partnership with Google Cloud, we now have new and innovative ways of providing our customers with support in the implementation of their cloud strategy,” says Christian Scholz, IT Director Cloud Business at Arvato Systems. “The partnership enables us to make use of the advantages of the powerful infrastructure and scalability of the Google Cloud within our multicloud strategy as well as the expertise of Google in fields such as artificial intelligence. In combination with our know-how and experience in the fields of transformation and migration, we can offer the customer attractive end-to-end services,” Scholz continues.

In particular in the area of migration of SAP systems to the cloud, Arvato Systems boasts experience and expertise thanks to its long-standing partnership with SAP and working together with major cloud providers. This experience and expertise can now be implemented in the Google Cloud environment to profitably take customers’ SAP systems to the cloud.

“Companies of all sizes and from all industries are adopting multi- and hybrid cloud strategies for digitizing their business,” states Bernd Stopper, Head of Partner Business DACH at Google Cloud. “Arvato Systems will help our customers to realise their cloud strategy whilst benefiting from Google Cloud’s massive innovative power. And this also applies to the many customers using SAP, as thanks to the new partnership with Arvato Systems those can now smoothly move their SAP workloads to Google Cloud Platform.”

With the Google Cloud partnership, Arvato Systems expands its comprehensive cloud portfolio, which stands out thanks to the high level of competence in the areas of cloud infrastructure, networking, migration, and managed services. In addition, the collaboration with Google Cloud opens up new possibilities in fields like artificial intelligence, analytics, and machine learning to help customers transform their businesses.
