The new automatic double-clipper gives an easy and “clean” access to the globally successful FCA series of automatic clippers. With its “focus on the essentials of clipping”, the new FCA 60 is all set to be a winner in the 18 to 80 mm calibre range. Running at up to 125 cycles a minute and equipped with a voiding separator, the machine produces a wide range of sausages – all with clean sausage tails and short sausage shoulders.
To make access to the FCA class easy, the FCA 60 successfully implements the concept “simplicity over complexity”, guaranteeing maximum productivity with basic operation. It closes fibrous casings up to 48 mm (depending on the material thickness), collagen casings up to 65 mm and plastic casings up to 80 mm. The new machine processes R-ID clips of the series XS, S and M. Should further evidence of its flexibility be required, it offers spreadings of 18, 26 and 30 mm.
Error prevention
Easy error prevention is offered by this double-clipper of the series. The individual parameters of the system consisting of clipping machine, clip and die (RFID) are monitored for a smooth production.
Ideal for shaped products thanks to overspreading
The FCA 60 offers “clean access” to the FCA range with uniform pleating of the casing and the voiding separator continuously ensuring there is no meat in the sausage tails. In addition, linear clip closing guarantees a symmetrical clip. Overspreading for loose, air-free filling up to a total voiding distance of 100 mm is already integrated in the standard version of the new FCA 60, which makes this new automatic double-clipper also suitable for shaped products.
Simplicity over complexity
At Poly-clip System, we believe the highest level of reliability and a long service life are essential quality criteria. So, made from stainless steel, the FCA 60 has been designed to be robust and withstand extreme production environments. Setting up the new FCA 60 couldn’t be easier: the controls are clearly laid out for product-specific settings and there are counters for knife, loop and label plus a single clip feature. There is also an electronic handwheel to help the operator make settings and parameter adjustments. The FCA 60 a powerful, yet low-noise machine.
The conveyor belt speed is continuously adjustable, ensuring products are true-to-calibre. With the fixed clip head, reloading of casings is ergonomic and saves time, additionally supported by the new brake-assistant, while two-handed triggering of the first clip is an obvious safety feature. Combining all lubrication points on one lubrication strip makes a positive contribution to maintaining of the value of your investment.
Hygienic design for easy cleaning
The high-quality stainless steel and compact design of the FCA 60 make it easy to clean. Furthermore, large openings, flaps and smooth surfaces ensure easy access for cleaning. The new automatic clipper meets the highest hygiene and safety requirements and complies with all guidelines for food processing plants.
