183 international exhibitors like ABB, Caterpillar, Seisa, Hellermann Tyton and Solar Turbines represented more than 350 brands from 14 countries; Germany, Brazil, Canada, China, Portugal, South Korea, Spain, UK, Italy, Austria, Czech Republic, Switzerland, Sweden and Mexico. The German Federal Ministry of Economic Affairs and Energy supported again a German pavilion which was managed by ICE Berlin. German companies like Aprovis, Haas, Meteocontrol and Rewald had a very successful participation.
In parallel Aquatech and Intersolar were held in the World Trade Center. The total attendance of the three events counted 17.206 professional visitors and conference attendees. 90% of the attendees came from private sector, 70 % national and 20 % international. Delegates from the Federal, State and Municipal level represented another 10 %.
Rodrigo Cerecer, Sales Manager LATAM of Tedom, a worldwide deliverer of CHP units stated “We are very happy with our attendance, we were able to close two deals and increase our market share. People who attended the booth came with a lot of expectation on how to use our technologies. We will definitely go back next year”.
The National Council of Ecological Industrials, CONIECO, organized the international Environmental Congress with “circular economy” as key topic. The congress noted 86 renowned speakers from Belgium, Spain, Italy, Portugal and Mexico and 459 attendees in total.
For its 28th anniversary, September 8-10, 2020, THE GREEN EXPO will change the location to Centro Citibanamex. This will improve the visitor flow by having all activities on one floor such as inauguration, conference, workshop, stages and the exhibitions.
