Kögel will be presenting its portfolio for forwarding companies and the construction industry at this year’s Transport Compleet in Hardenberg. From 24 to 26 March 2020, visitors can take a closer look at a Kögel Box dry freight box body specially pre-configured for the Benelux market.
Kögel Box
The highlight at the trade fair stand is the Kögel Box. This dry freight box body, with 20-mm-thick plywood walls and a 40-mm-thick insulated roof produced in-house, ensures perfect protection for temperature-sensitive goods. The 30-mm-thick screen-printed floor is designed for a fork-lift axle load of 7,200 kg. The sturdy chassis, which uses the Kögel modular system, can withstand any forklift truck with its consistent modules, assemblies and components, and its standard reinforced rear frame with a 720-mm-long, rigidly welded steel bridging plate. In addition, the Kögel Box has a load-securing certificate as standard, in accordance with DIN EN 12642 Code XL. The dry freight box body provides premium transport quality and protection from environmental influences and theft. With a wide range of equipment options, the trailer is also highly customisable in line with specific customer requirements. The Kögel Box exhibited at Transport Compleet Hardenberg 2020 features individual equipment that has been specially preconfigured for the Benelux market. This includes a 12-mm-thick and 1,250-mm-high textured coated board on the inside of the front wall. A tail lift with forklift access and 2,000 kg lifting force is installed for quick and easy loading and unloading. Furthermore, the exhibit is equipped with steel rubber bumpers for increased collision protection. An eight-millimetre-thick lateral steel bracket across the entire width of the frame provides forklift protection on the end plate. A row of steel combination anchor rails help optimally secure partial loads. Additional special equipment includes an axle lift, a steel light carrier and much more.
