In view of the unclear overall situation and the almost hourly changes in events, MAN expects further and also increasing bottlenecks in the coming days, both in supplying production and in delivering vehicles and parts. This and MAN’s concern for the welfare of its employees is forcing the company to apply for short-time work at its German production sites. Employees from administrative areas not affected by short-time work are to take advantage of existing flexible working time arrangements and work from home wherever possible.
Production will also be scaled back at non-German plants. MAN is doing everything in its power to maintain the operation of its sales and service lo-cations worldwide to the full extent permitted by the overall situation, in order to safeguard supply chains. In addition, MAN has taken all necessary measures at all locations to ensure that the health of its employees is not jeopardized even in this extreme situation.
