Thanks to Opel, the choice for van buyers in search of transport for teams, guests or larger families just got bigger. Practical, flexible and, above all, economical, the new Opel Vivaro Combi is ready for a variety of tasks. The range of state-of-the-art diesel engines ensures optimum efficiency. Opel offers the Vivaro Combi in three lengths: the 4.60-metre S, the 4.95m M or the 5.30m L. Each offers seating for up to nine people and with a height of 1.90m, most variants can access underground parking. Numerous optional assistance systems enable buyers to increase comfort and safety. The technologies range from rear view camera to multimedia infotainment.
“The Opel Vivaro Combi shows that a versatile, economical people carrier can also look really cool”, says Opel’s head of light commercial vehicles, Pascal Martens. “With modern technologies and comfort features like air conditioning as standard equipment, the Vivaro Combi is more than a shuttle bus – drivers and passengers alike feel very comfortable.”
Large windows and comfortable seats as standard
Prices start at only €26,370 (all prices RRP incl. VAT in Germany) for the 4.60m-long Vivaro Combi S (maximum luggage capacity 3.6 cubic metres). The seats for driver and front passenger are four-way adjustable, while the second row seat (removable without tools, if necessary) features Isofix attachments for younger passengers. With the 4.95m-long M, available from € 26,920, the luggage capacity grows to 4.2m3 and 4.90m3 for the L (5.30m long, from €28,870). In addition to the sliding door on the passenger side (standard), an optional sliding door on the driver’s side makes access to the passenger compartment even easier. At the rear, customers can choose from twin doors (opening to 180 degrees) or a tailgate, at no extra charge.
Wide range of modern assistance and infotainment systems
Opel offers a wide range of optional assistance systems for the Vivaro Combi. Park pilot facilitates manoeuvring. When the driver engages reverse, the rear view camera provides optimum visibility behind the vehicle and displays the image with guidelines on a screen.
Customers can adjust the interior temperature via the standard air conditioning system. The Solar Protect thermal insulation glazing in the rear offers privacy and lowers the amount of sunlight that reaches the interior. Numerous seat configurations for the second and third seat rows increase comfort and versatility. The range of fabric-trimmedseats extends from a monoblock format to a configuration with a row of passenger seats that folds down in a ratio of 1:3/2:3.
The "Multimedia Radio" and "Multimedia Navi Pro" infotainment systems, which feature a colour touchscreen and voice control, provide state-of-the-art connectivity. Both systems are compatible with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The "Multimedia Navi Pro" offers European navigation with 3D map display. The new “OpelConnect” services are available. Route and trip information as well as a direct connection to breakdown assistance and eCall provide peace of mind for drivers as well as passengers. With deployment of the belt tensioners or airbags, the system automatically makes an emergency call. The red button offers manual connection. The black button is for placing a breakdown call.
Extra efficient: modern turbo diesel engines with 75kW/102hp to 110kW/150hp
The Vivaro Combi features economical as well as powerful turbo diesel engines, ranging in power output from 75kW (102hp) to 110kW (150hp). Depending on the power output, they offer maximum torque of up to 370 Newton meters (see table for details). To reduce nitrogen oxide emissions still further, all engines have selective catalytic reduction (SCR) exhaust after-treatment technology. With the Euro 6d-TEMP pollutant standard, there are no limits to the Vivaro Combi’s mobility.
