New in this release is the support of the next Oracle version 21c. Another feature is the revised presentation of Oracle schema dependencies.
Oracle schema dependencies as diagram
On the schema page KeepTool’s Hora presents the “Schema dependencies” on its “Schema” page. The overview shows the super- and subordinated dependencies of the current database schema to and from other schemas.
Drilling-down object dependencies
In KeepTool 14.2.2, there is an additional data grid to the right of the diagram. After the selection of a table in the diagram the data grid lists all objects with a direct connection to the selected database schema. The kind of dependency to the selected table is part of the presentation.
Important addition for the analyses of Oracle databases
Usage of the new table presentation the Oracle database tool Hora can examine the object dependencies in between database schemas. With this new feature KeepTool provides additional support for the effective analyses of Oracle databases.
