A number of obstacles were placed in the way of the implementation of the first ISE in Barcelona. So it‘s all the more pleasing that nothing now stands in the way of the two day event thanks to professional organisation and a well thought out hygiene concept.

"It‘s time to set an example and get back to normality, which is moving closer and closer due to increasing vaccination rates and decreasing infection figures. In addition to immediatley relevant product areas, such as hygiene in public spaces, we are focusing on the latest products from the LED, projection, display and image processing sectors, which will continue to ensure impressive events and fixed installations in the future. ISE will be an important step and opportunity for us this year, both in Barcelona and London in particular," emphasises Peter Mathia, CEO, LANG AG.

Tom Voncina, CEO, LANG IBERIA also adds: "This years‘ participation in ISE is more important than ever for us, as it‘s now a local event in Barcelona. Trade fair visitors can once again find various media installations and special solutions from all product areas of video technology at this year’s ISE trade fair stand from LANG AG, in Barcelona B-245 and London L-200.

LED

A strong focus is on LED innovation:

The highlight of the trade fair appearance this year is INTI. INTI is the new LED product of which 1,000m² will be added to the rental fleet of LANG AG.

In a 5.0m x 2.5m setup, INTI convinces with an excellent image quality at a pixel pitch of 2.6 mm. Thanks to improved drive electronics, it‘s HDR optimised and has outstanding colour reproduction. The AOB coating in the edge area of the cabinet makes INTI twice as robust as conventional SMD products and thus minimising potential damage during assembly. In addition, the tiles can be faceted in several standard, and customised steps thanks to an optimised mechanical concept making it a truly versatile product.

In addition to the INTI, the QSTECH Crius LE LED poster is impressive in various applications, not only at the LANG AG trade fair stand, but also at the Fira Barcelona – Gran Via exhibition centre.

The handling of the QSTECH Crius LE with a pixel pitch of 1.9 mm is as easy as that of a traditional display – the device can be controlled via remote control and is plug-and-play capable. With just a few simple adjustments, the unit is ready for flying operation or wall mounting in portrait or landscape mode. Seamless connection of multiple posters is also simple to implement. The QSTECH Crius LE does away with a distracting and vulnerable front glass panel, but is still robust thanks to the use of AOB technology.

In its typical application, the transparent NEXNOVO NexEsign NT10 LED system comes into its own as a banner on the exhibition stand:

The NexEsign NT10 is an ultra transparent glass LED display with a brilliant brightness of 5,000 nits. In addition to its transparency of 92%, it is characterised by particularly easy operation and installation. The all-in-one cloud-based content creation and management app NexCloud enables centralised content management. The 10mm LED product can be operated remotely, making it ideal for the fixed installation market. In addition to the use of specific content, existing content can also be used.

Projection

The Panasonic PT-RQ35K was on display at the AV Innovation Days in February 2021 hosted at the LANG ACADEMY, don‘t miss the unique application to be shown on ISE stand of LANG AG. The interaction between the 35,000 lumen 3-chip DLP 4K projector and the Novaline CarbonBlack screen makes the projection a first class eye-catcher.

The Novaline screen is equipped with 450-780nm graphite tubes that capture the different frequencies of light waves. These tubes cause light waves to oscillate on the quantum scale to create a visible pixel of light. In this way, the light is not simply reflected, but captured. The screen is thus self luminous and impresses with first class colour reproduction.

From the compact projector segment, the new 10,000 lumen Epson EB-PU2010 3LCD laser projector is represented, which will project using an ultra short throw lens onto a transparent screen that is laminated with the transparent Aslan RP36 projection film.

Image Processing

The Analog Way Midra™-4K series offers a wide portfolio of devices and options for multiple vertical markets. Drawing on the experience of the Aquilon series, the system capability extends shortly after launch with strong new firmware features. In comparison, the Barco PDS-4K series shows products from the entry level 4K mixer segment. In addition, the series scores with easy handling and completes  the Event Master hardware lineup that has been an established standard for many years.

The third and final link in the chain is the Taurus series from Lightware. This series is entering the new UCC (Unified Communications & Collaboration) markets. The portfolio already offers different models for the various application scenarios and connects the worlds of audio, video and control in a simple way.

VIOSO

VIOSO Demonstration Kits consist of two small projectors, a camera, a screen, and a mounting system that allows you to adjust and align quickly and effectively. This setup is ideal for showcasing VIOSO software solutions with camera based alignment for warping and blending capabilities in a super small layout. It is perfect to carry along for potential customer visits or showcasing at a tradeshow.

Public Space Hygiene Products

There are already some technical possibilities that allow us to make events safer today. In the course of the pandemic, hygiene in public spaces has developed into an important product area that has also become relevant for the AV industry and will continue to be so in the future.

"Safety first" – is still the motto. In addition to the generally applicable hygiene guidelines, the LANG AG stand is also equipped with the right public space products from EXACT solutions to create a safe environment.

The digital doorman, Doorman DMN08, detects the wearing of a face coverings and reliably measures the body temperature of the person standing in front of the doorman without contact. In addition, the Air Sanitizer V1000E UVC is in use and helps to clean the air, sterilising viruses, bacteria and mould spores.

The classic GhosT-OLED proves its flexibility again this year and is used as a modern counter shield.
