The DBX is the first luxury SUV and at the same time the first 5-seater from Aston Martin and thus a completely new type of vehicle from the English noble brand based in Gaydon. Nevertheless, like all vehicles from Aston Martin, it is a vehicle that is dedicated to the attributes of "beauty", "luxury" and "driving dynamics".
So, it was only a matter of time before the engineers at MANSORY took on the DBX to refine it as part of a complete conversion. These complete conversions – for which MANSORY is known worldwide and highly sought after by its customers – meanwhile represent an ever-increasing share of the total turnover of MANSORY Design & Holding GmbH and are enjoying ever-increasing popularity in all parts of the world. With a vertical range of manufacture that is unparalleled in the tuning segment, the 250-man company presents itself as a modern automobile manufacturer with its own team of highly qualified specialists who carry out almost all work "in-house".
MANSORY also refines the entire aerodynamics of the Aston Martin "in-house". This results in an impressive wide-body styling in combination with optimised aerodynamics with increased downforce values for significantly improved cornering performance. For this purpose, the front of the DBX is redesigned with a completely new apron including an integrated front lip made of carbon. The ultra-light and painted carbon bonnet with additional cooling air outlets in visible carbon completes the redesign of the front section. On the flanks, striking MANSORY extensions continue the design language and make the DBX look significantly more powerful, but also lower and more elongated. To increase the downforce on the rear axle, the MANSORY engineers developed a beautifully shaped spoiler for mounting on the tailgate and a matching roof spoiler – both of which take up the design language of the standard tear-off edge of the tailgate and are also made entirely of carbon. In addition, a new rear apron with diffuser skilfully sets off the striking tailpipes of the sports exhaust system. Numerous carbon-fibre components such as trim strips, mirror housings and air intake trims add further striking highlights, some of which are further accentuated with accents in the special colour "Limegreen".
For the first time, the DBX features a new wheel design called "DX.5" in 10×24 inch (front) and 12.5×24 inch (rear) dimensions with matching 295/30R24 and 355/25R24 tyre sizes. These not only fill out the front and rear wheel arches richly and coherently, but also combine both sportiness and technical elegance in the best possible way. The colour scheme of the rims was chosen to match the overall colour concept of the car – black and “Limegreen”. It should also be mentioned that the new "DX.5" rim design was designed to optimise ventilation of the brake system on the one hand and to emphasise the car’s dynamic appearance in style on the other.
The heart of the DBX – its V8 twin-turbo engine – also underwent extensive modifications by the engineers of the MANSORY Performance Department. This includes a completely new engine management system, new and larger turbochargers, a sports air filter and a high-performance sports exhaust system. The exhaust system can be supplied in two versions – entirely according to the customer’s wishes. The systems differ recognisably in the positioning of the tailpipes; either they are located in the area of the standard rear apron opening or they end as closely spaced double pipes in the middle of the carbon rear apron. Thanks to all these changes, the DBX, after its conversion at MANSORY, delivers an impressive 800 hp (standard: 550 hp) and an increased torque of 1.000 Nm (standard: 700 Nm) on the rollers of the dynamometer. The corresponding performance data are: Vmax 325 km/h and the sprint from 0 to 100 km/h takes place in a short 3,8s.
The interior – corresponding to the exterior design – is kept entirely in black. The special colour "Limegreen" used to accentuate details on the exterior is also found in many places in the interior. The edging of the floor mats, the seats, the centre console, the decorative stitching on the dashboard and the sports airbag steering wheel are all finished in this colour. Individually embroidered floor mats, the use of fine visible carbon and the covering of almost all surfaces with the finest leather add further highlights to the masterfully handcrafted interior. Just as MANSORY has been known for many years.

MANSORY – more than tradition, more than racing.
Premium British cars and their special flair have always been a passion of owner and the man who gave his name to the company – Kourosh Mansory. This enthusiasm resulted in him spending several years in England and also led to a personal commitment to automotive values such as tradition, hand crafting and sophisticated technology. So right from the founding of the company in 1989, special attention was paid to the brands Rolls-Royce, Bentley, and Aston Martin. Nowadays, MANSORY devote the same attention to detail to individualising models from the brands Porsche, Lotus, Maserati, BMW, Mercedes-Benz, McLaren, Lamborghini and Ferrari, and they have established themselves as one of the largest, most highly regarded car individualisation companies in the world.
In the middle of 2001, MANSORY relocated their head office from the Bavarian city of Munich to Brand in the Fichtelgebirge Mountains. By taking over the tuning business area of the Swiss company Rinspeed AG, and setting up MANSORY Switzerland AG in November 2008, MANSORY expanded their product portfolio to include a range of accessories for Porsche cars. Refinement of the brands Range-Rover, BMW and Porsche will continue to be marketed under the brand MANSORY Switzerland. The Mannheim company AEV-Automotive GmbH has been part of the group since 2009. The exclusive interior design specialist supplies leading automobile and caravan manufacturers.
Manufacturing at the highest technical level, combined with outstanding workmanship and the finest materials represent the quality standard of the MANSORY company. The basis of the MANSORY technology programme consists of harmoniously designed aerodynamic programmes, ultra-light aluminium wheel rims and powerful increases in engine power output. High quality accessories and stylish interior design complete the range.
MANSORY now has a team of more than 250 employees and can fulfil nearly every automotive desire of its exclusive clientele. The company does this in Germany and worldwide through its selected distribution partners.
