MANSORY’s individualisation strategy for high-end small-series vehicles, launched a few weeks ago under the name "MANSORY Bespoke", can also be combined with the classic complete conversions from MANSORY. The car tuner Kourosh Mansory is now demonstrating this for the first time based on the Mercedes G-Class, which has been an integral part of its product portfolio for many years and – with numerous conversions – also offers one of the numerically most successful base vehicles for complete conversions from MANSORY.
The G63 built on customer request shows in its basic features a classic complete conversion by MANSORY and includes the following focal points of individualisation, which characterise every complete conversion by MANSORY:
Design | Performance | Wheels | Interior
In accordance with the customer’s wishes, however, numerous detail modifications were carried out inside and out, so that even the smallest details of the vehicle could be converted and refined exactly according to the customer’s individual special wishes ("Bespoke"), which go beyond the scope of a classic complete conversion.
Design
The body styling of the G-Class, painted entirely in a special paint finish called "Algorithmic Fade", is impressive both visually and technically. Starting at the front in the colour "turquoise", the colour transition to the colour black is created by black-painted symbols according to the customer’s specifications ("Bespoke"), which become increasingly dense in spacing, size and number. All aerodynamic add-on parts, starting with the front apron, the elegantly widened front wings, the widening of the door undersides and the rear apron have also been redrawn according to the customer’s wishes ("Bespoke"). All these components are of course made of full carbon in "Forged Carbon" finish and all other bodywork applications have also been executed in "Forged Carbon". The ultra-light full carbon bonnet in partial unpainted and partial painted from "turquoise" to "black" and impressively characterises the front section. At the rear, the spare wheel is completely covered in "Forged Carbon" and provides together with the newly designed rear apron and a new ("Bespoke") roof edge spoiler a harmonious finish all in black. Numerous other components made of "Forged Carbon", such as indicator bases, mirror housings, air intakes and outlets, together with other striking highlights such as the door handle inlays with "MANSORY" lettering and the special "Algorithmic Fade" paint finish already described, form an extremely stylish combination.
Performance
No less elaborate are the changes to the powertrain. Larger turbochargers, new downpipes on the left and right, a high-performance exhaust system and reprogrammed electronics are used for the 4.0-litre V8 unit. This results in an impressive 850 hp instead of the 585 hp of the standard G63 AMG. The maximum torque increases from 850 to 1,000 Newton metres. As a result, the sprint from 0 to 100 kilometres per hour is improved to just 3.5 seconds, and the top speed is also increased to (governed) 250 km/h.
Wheels
To bring this enormous power on the road, the luxury tuner from Brand equips the G63 with high-performance tyres of the size 295/30R24 all around. They are carried by one-piece "YN.5" forged rims painted completely in black in the corresponding dimension 10×24.
Interior
The exclusive exterior, which has been modified in numerous details according to the customer’s wishes, is of course matched in no way by the highly individualised interior design. Only the finest materials are used in the interior, which is completely reupholstered in s special leather colour which is called "Feroza". A new leather-carbon sports steering wheel, a sports pedal set in aluminium, carbon inlays painted in "turquoise" and leather inserts with 3D embossing and hole patterns according to the customer’s wishes ("Bespoke") for the seats, the door inserts and the centre armrest are just as pleasing to the eye as the precisely worked embroidery of the MANSORY logo in the seats, on the seat belts and in the floor mats. All the carpets in the interior are also in the "Feroza" colour.
