- Study by Focus Money magazine surveys 19,000 companies
- Expressdienst established among the top 5 best-rated logistics service providers since 2020
Focus Money magazine ranks trans-o-flex Expressdienst among the logistics service providers offering the best price-performance ratio in Germany. In the current study "Price Winner 2022", which the magazine commissioned from the Hamburg Institute for Management and Economic Research (IMWF), the company, which specialises in logistics solutions for the healthcare, cosmetics, consumer electronics and other high-end, sensitive goods sectors, won the award for the third year in a row. "Such awards are an important indicator of how our company is perceived by the public," says Wolfgang P. Albeck, CEO of trans-o-flex. "We are particularly pleased to be ranked among the best logistics companies for the third consecutive year. Because this speaks for the fact that our success was not a flash in the pan, but that we continuously deliver high performance."
According to the authors of the study, the price-performance ratio is also one of the most important decision-making criteria for service companies when selecting a provider. In the study "Price Winner 2022", data was therefore collated for around 19,000 brands and companies in the form of so-called social listening. This involves scanning and analysing tens of thousands of websites, forums, blogs and social media channels. In this study, social listening focuses on the topics of "price" and "overall impression".
The total of only 14 companies honoured in the logistics company category includes not only transport service providers, but also suppliers for intralogistics such as SSI-Schäfer, which once again received the best score. This year, trans-o-flex was once again among the top 5 best-rated service providers.
trans-o-flex’s core areas of expertise are logistics solutions for the healthcare, cosmetics and consumer electronics industries and other sensitive goods. The company has built up transport networks to carry goods throughout Germany and Austria at 15 to 25 degrees Celsius or 2 to 8 degrees Celsius actively temperature-controlled and documented in accordance with EU regulations for healthcare transport. These EU-GDPs require the highest standards for safety and security, cleanliness, reliability and transparency, from which all trans-o-flex customers benefit. trans-o-flex operates internationally via the networks EUROTEMP (temperature-controlled logistics) and EURODIS (in 36 European countries). In contrast to parcel and groupage services, trans-o-flex delivers parcels and pallets on a consolidated basis. trans-o-flex Express offers numerous express and time-slot deliveries, special services such as hazardous goods transportation (without minimum quantity regulation), consignment consolidation and direct deliveries. The range of services is complemented by warehousing, order picking and individual value-added services such as serialisation and deserialisation of pharmaceuticals. This means that the company covers the entire logistics chain from procurement through to fulfilment. The annual turnover of the trans-o-flex companies, which employ a total of around 1,793 people (FTEs, end of 2021), amounted to around 522 million euros in 2021.
