High-performance sports cars of almost all well-known premium car manufacturers have been the clear majority of all tuning projects of the Bavarian noble tuner MANSORY as base vehicles – besides premium SUVs of the same origin – for many years. And if you look at the segment of high-performance sports cars again in isolation, these are vehicles in large numbers coming from Italy.
While in recent years these were mainly vehicles from Maranello, the choice for the latest complete conversion from MANSORY fell on a vehicle from Modena:
The MC20 from the traditional sports car manufacturer Maserati.
With the MC20 (= Maserati Corse 20) Maserati heralds a new era in its long, over 100-year company history and wants to continue its remarkable growth of recent years in the future sustainably and at the same time also honour its motorsport heritage.
"Along with Ferrari, Maserati is without a doubt one of the greatest names in automotive history ever," said Kourosh Mansory, CEO and founder of MANSORY Design and Holding GmbH. "With the MC20, an outstanding basic vehicle has now come onto the market that almost imposes itself on the needs and wishes of our customers and at the same time offers many conversion options, so that our first creation "MANSORY FIRST EDITION" will be followed very soon by further derivatives – based on the MC20 and the derived spider," Kourosh Mansory continues.
As with all MANSORY complete conversions, only the very finest ingredients of automotive refinement art are used for the Maserati MC20: a body with lightweight components made of forged carbon, a significant increase in performance, profound suspension modifications, elegantly forged sports rims and various interior modifications made of the finest leather and carbon.
D E S I G N
At first glance, the "MANSORY FIRST EDITION" catches the eye of the beholder as an uncompromising high-performance sports car, primarily committed to maximum performance. This is how it should be, and there is no reason to conceal this in any way.
Striking, massively enlarged air intakes in the front apron, which always ensure the flow of fresh air to the high-performance radiators and a new, specially developed front lip give the "MANSORY FIRST EDITION" an impressive appearance and, in conjunction with the supplementary flaps, do significantly improved the downforce on the front axle.
At the side, no less striking wheel arches made of full carbon show the unmistakable signature and competence of MANSORY in terms of carbon processing. The doors made of the same material are partially painted and provide maximum visual enjoyment in the side view of the car without losing their technical functionality. Also finished in full carbon is the area in front of the side cooling air intakes to the engine. A new full-carbon engine hood supplies the engine from above with maximum amounts of cooling fresh air for the powerful V6 biturbo engine.
An impressive, also completely new rear wing and a completely newly developed double diffuser with central brake light increase downforce on the rear axle and complete the extensive aerodynamic improvements to the "MANSORY FIRST EDITION" to create a visually coherent overall package.
An impressive, powerful-sounding 4-pipe exhaust system rounds off the rear view harmoniously and powerfully.

On the engine side, the engineers at MANSORY have also tightened several screws, thus ensuring a performance increase in line with the standard engine. In the end, these extensive modifications result in the 3.0-liter V6 biturbo mid-engine now delivering 720 hp and 850 Nm to the crankshaft instead of the standard 630 hp and 730 Nm. The main reasons for the increase in power are the new engine electronics and the in-house high-performance exhaust system. The increased performance data catapults the MC20 into the circle of super sports cars with a top speed of 330 km/h and a sprint from zero to 100 km/h in 2.7s.

With newly developed and adapted suspension components and with new "FV.5" rims, the performance of the "MANSORY FIRST EDITION" are brought safely and confidently onto the road at all times. These one-piece, newly designed and ultra-light forged rims in the dimensions 9.5 x 21 and 12 x 22 are fitted in combination with high-performance tires in the sizes 255/30 R21 (VA) and 335/25 R22 (HA) and at the same time offer maximum performance in terms of lateral dynamics.
I N T E R I O R
The interior of the "MANSORY FIRST EDITION" is in principle – likewise the exterior colours of all complete conversions – freely selectable and configurable by the customer. In the case of the vehicle shown here, the complete interior was kept in the three colour tones yellow, white and black. The national colours of Italy are reflected in the form of a central stripe in the sports seats and the headliner. In the same way, the car itself is discreetly and centrally divided by a small painted stripe in green, white and red.
Another MANSORY standard: The interior is laid out entirely in fine and glove-soft leather and meets the highest standards of workmanship and attention to detail. This attention to detail is evident, among many other things, in the white seat belts, which are accented with a yellow MANSORY logo.
The entire footwell and the accompanying floor mats are also in leather and color-coordinated with the rest of the interior.
Wherever leather is not used (or is not intended to be used), the interior is selectively refined with carbon. A MANSORY sports leather steering wheel and several, precisely embroidered MANSORY logos elegantly round off the fully comprehensive refinement in the interior.

MANSORY – more than tradition, more than racing.
Premium British cars and their special flair have always been a passion of owner and the man who gave his name to the company – Kourosh Mansory. This enthusiasm resulted in him spending several years in England and also led to a personal commitment to automotive values such as tradition, hand crafting and sophisticated technology. So right from the founding of the company in 1989, special attention was paid to the brands Rolls-Royce, Bentley, and Aston Martin. Nowadays, MANSORY devote the same attention to detail to individualising models from the brands Porsche, Lotus, Maserati, BMW, Mercedes-Benz, McLaren, Lamborghini and Ferrari, and they have established themselves as one of the largest, most highly regarded car individualisation companies in the world.
In the middle of 2001, MANSORY relocated their head office from the Bavarian city of Munich to Brand in the Fichtelgebirge Mountains. By taking over the tuning business area of the Swiss company Rinspeed AG, and setting up MANSORY Switzerland AG in November 2008, MANSORY expanded their product portfolio to include a range of accessories for Porsche cars. Refinement of the brands Range-Rover, BMW and Porsche will continue to be marketed under the brand MANSORY Switzerland. The Mannheim company AEV-Automotive GmbH has been part of the group since 2009. The exclusive interior design specialist supplies leading automobile and caravan manufacturers.
Manufacturing at the highest technical level, combined with outstanding workmanship and the finest materials represent the quality standard of the MANSORY company. The basis of the MANSORY technology programme consists of harmoniously designed aerodynamic programmes, ultra-light aluminium wheel rims and powerful increases in engine power output. High quality accessories and stylish interior design complete the range.
MANSORY now has a team of more than 250 employees and can fulfil nearly every automotive desire of its exclusive clientele. The company does this in Germany and worldwide through its selected distribution partners.
