Based in Alsdorf, the 4JET Group provides solutions for the surface technology of the future. Established in 2006, the company supplies, among other things, tire manufacturers with solutions for tire marking, mold cleaning, and adhesive preparation. Customers also include major OEMs and other automotive suppliers. The Business Unit 4JET microtech delivers laser micro-processing systems for the machining of technical glass, solar cells, and other high-tech components. The company employs around 200 people, including about 80 engineers and scientists. Subsidiaries in Shanghai and Atlanta provide international customers with sales advice and technical services.
