- New look: LCV models also with characteristic Opel Vizor brand fascia
- New work space: Refreshed cockpits with up to 10-inch colour touchscreens
- New electronic helpers: Up to 21 assistance systems make working life safer
- New electric drivetrains: Class-leading driving range of up to 420 kilometres (WLTP1)
The new generation of Opel’s light commercial vehicle (LCV) trio is ready to go: The compact new Opel Combo, the medium-sized new Opel Vivaro and the large new Opel Movano are already available to order and will soon be able to handle almost any task – flexible, strong, ultra-modern and distinctive.
Each model will feature new exterior styling and a redesigned cockpit, while the battery-electric versions will continue to offer class-leading driving range – with the new Movano Electric able to cover up to 420 kilometres on a single charge (according to WLTP1). This is made possible by state-of-the-art battery technologies and improvements such as increased drive efficiency. The new Combo Electric, Vivaro Electric and Movano Electric also continue to offer the full operational capability of their counterparts with internal combustion engines.
However, the flexible Opel LCVs will not only be available with locally emissions-free electric drive or highly efficient combustion engines. In addition to the Opel Vivaro HYDROGEN, the new Movano will also enrich the range of drive alternatives as the innovative Movano HYDROGEN fuel cell transporter.
Outside and inside: Ultra-modern new-generation LCV trio
The new light commercial vehicle models from the brand with the Blitz are immediately recognisable thanks to the new, LCV-specific interpretation of the Opel Vizor brand fascia familiar from Opel’s newest passenger cars. The Vizor integrates the brand emblem with the signature front lighting systems, creating a single visual unit that stretches fully across the face of the vehicle.
In addition to the exterior design, the interiors of the new Opel Combo, Vivaro and Movano have undergone further development. The highlights of the refreshed cockpits will include new wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto-compatible infotainment systems with colour touchscreens up to 10 inches in size.
The new generation of the Opel Combo, Vivaro and Movano are also leaders when it comes to driver assistance systems. The new Combo brings the adaptive, glare-free Intelli-Lux LED® Matrix Light to its segment for the first time. The new Movano enables level 2 automated driving – a first in the history of the model. Depending on the model, up to 21 state-of-the-art driver assistance systems are available, making long work and business trips as well as manoeuvring on company premises or in the city easier and safer.
The exciting new offer is rounded off by an extensive variety of variants: As usual, the light commercial vehicle trio is available in different lengths and heights as well as numerous body variants in order to meet almost all commercial requirements. In addition, the models score with exemplary loading volumes as well as loading and towing capacities – equipped to handle even the most demanding tasks of everyday work.
[1] Range values determined according to WLTP test procedure methodology (R (EC) No. 715/2007, R (EU) No. 2017/1151). The actual range can vary under everyday conditions and depends on various factors, in particular on personal driving style, route characteristics, outside temperature, use of heating and air conditioning and thermal preconditioning.
