As a regional machinery company specializing in recycling technology, we at ARJES GmbH are proud to support a special educational project for schools and kindergartens in Thuringia in collaboration with the Save Nature Group. Our goal is to convey the important topic of recycling to children in a tangible, hands-on, and most importantly, experiential manner, thereby making a positive contribution to the future of our region.

Since the beginning of the 2024 school year, the ‚Plastic Recycling Mobile‘ of the Save Nature Group has been on the move at numerous schools and kindergartens in Thuringia/Germany. This mobile classroom brings the topic of recycling directly to the children and turns theory into a real hands-on experience. Using a bicycle shredder, the plastic waste previously collected by the children is shredded, melted down, and pressed into unique rulers that each child can take home as a personal keepsake. In this way, the children learn in a playful manner how important recycling is for the protection of our environment and how they can actively participate in it.

The ARJES Save Nature recycling experience project is a matter of the heart for us, as we not only develop recycling machines but also want to take on social responsibility. Therefore, we have decided to support the Save Nature Group with a generous monetary donation, so that participating schools and kindergartens incur no costs.

The funding for this donation is the result of a special initiative: In May 2024, we were able to hold a special auction at the IFAT World Environmental Technology Fair in Munich to mark the launch of our new COMPAKTOR 300. In addition to showcasing the product, our goal was to use the auction’s profit margin to support an environmental protection project in our region. A total of 40,000 euros was raised, of which nearly 30,000 euros will be directly allocated to the school and kindergarten project with the Save Nature Group. The remaining amount is already earmarked for another environmental protection project by ARJES GmbH in spring 2025.

“We at ARJES are proud to make the important topic of recycling tangible and experiential for our children in Thuringia, in collaboration with the Save Nature Group,” says Martin Priewe, Head of Marketing at ARJES GmbH. “It’s fantastic to see how excited both the children and the teachers are about the project. With a total of 18 project days at various schools and kindergartens, we are reaching many young people who learn in a playful way how important recycling is. We are very pleased that our donation is making such a positive contribution.”

With this donation, we at ARJES aim not only to promote environmental awareness among children but also to strengthen our role as a company in recycling technology, actively working to shape a more sustainable future – for the environment, our region, and especially for the next generation of recycling heroes.
