Dr. Daniel Winters took over as Head of the Development Department of Instrument Systems in Munich on 1 August 2024, thereby complementing the management team as VP Research & Development under CEO Dr. Markus Ehbrecht and Managing Director Dr. Yuta Yamanoi.

Dr. Daniel Winters holds a PhD in Technical Physics in the field of semiconductor technology and measurement technology, and contributes more than 20 years of professional experience in the development of optical measurement technology. In his previous positions he was CEO and CTO for Trioptics USA, as well as acting consultant to manufacturers of optical systems and optical measurement technology. His thematic focus is on the areas AR/VR/MR and 3D-Sensing.

Dr. Markus Ehbrecht, CEO of Instrument Systems, is delighted to have recruited Daniel Winters for this key position in his company. “With Daniel, a highly experienced manager takes over our motivated development team.
