ALKOBLAN PIPES, an established manufacturer of PPR pipes and fittings for over 30 years, offers a wide range of plastic piping solutions used primarily in the water supply industry. “The cooperation with SKZ is an important step for us to establish our products internationally as quality solutions and to further strengthen the trust of our customers," explains ABDULLELAH ABDULAAL, R&D Manager of ALKOBLAN PIPES. The partnership with SKZ began in the spring of 2024 with an approval test focused on meeting high quality and safety standards. During a visit by Jochen Wissgott, an expert from SKZ’s Pipe Systems Division, the requirements for ALKOBLAN’s in-house production control were thoroughly checked. Particular attention was paid to hygienic quality aspects to ensure that raw materials and end products are protected from contamination. This quality control is crucial for the high standards that ALKOBLAN and SKZ want to ensure together.
With this partnership, ALKOBLAN and the SKZ aim to establish a long-term and successful cooperation. The SKZ certification not only enables ALKOBLAN to stay at the forefront of industry standards and quality requirements, but also to further improve its product portfolio and open up new markets worldwide. “Quality assurance of plastic pipe systems used for the transport of drinking water and other liquids as well as gases under pressure is essential to ensure safety, durability, compliance with standards and cost-effectiveness. It minimizes risks, protects the environment and ensures that the pipes reliably fulfill their function over their planned service life,” concludes Jochen Wissgott.
