CEO Jonathon Deluce’s company has now succeeded in identifying additional, highly promising exploration targets by using new, cutting-edge geophysical techniques. Previously, electrical surveys could not distinguish between mineralization and pyritic/graphitic rock. However, new data processing tools and downhole gravity surveys, such as Gravilog, are now improving target discrimination at depth. Abitibi intends to use these and other customized geophysical techniques to better investigate the high-grade extension of the B26 deposit.
