The new Dometic RMD 10 – presented at this year’s Caravan Salon – is the first model in Dometic’s new refrigerator generation for caravans and motorhomes. Featuring a patented door hinge on both sides, it is a genuine highlight at the show. Its door can be opened from either side for maximum convenience and flexibility. The intuitive door handle extends across the entire height of the refrigerator, which allows easy opening at any height. A high-quality TFT display affords optimal readability of the settings, which are made by using the soft-touch turning knob. Fitted with a new cooling unit, the RMD 10 achieves the best cooling performance in its class. Moreover, it is the first RV refrigerator prepared for integration in CI-bus systems, which allows operation from a central control unit inside the motorhome or caravan. An accessory package complements the well equipped interior of the new RMD 10.

New for old: All customers who decide to swap their 6, 7 or 8-series Dometic RMD refrigerator the new-generation fridge of the 10 series, will get the new fridge at an attractive special price.

Panel van owners, too, can look forward to a new fridge from Dometic. The new RC 10.4 compressor refrigerator is available as a 70 or 90-litre version, both with a reversible door hinge. The design matches that of the 10-series models for motorhomes and caravans. Thanks to the integrated ventilation system, the fridge can be seamlessly integrated into the sidewall of the panel van.

The new PW 1100 wall mounted awning Dometic presents at this year’s Caravan Salon excels with no less than three patented features.

Awning set-up is now easier than ever before thanks to the new, patented slide-out support legs of the PW 1100. The patented, improved design of the EasyLock system makes operation even easier and safer as well. It is not possible anymore to unlock the support legs accidentally. All model versions 4 Metres long or longer are supplied with a tension rafter. During the journey the tension rafter is simply stowed in the awning housing, so it won’t take up precious storage space inside the vehicle. And best of all, all currently available Dometic awning adapters can be used for the new model too.
