Cupra has existed as a brand split off from Seat for almost five years. After the first Cupra types were initially top models of the corresponding Seat series, the first completely independent series model followed in 2020: the Formentor. The sporty, dynamic SUV is an absolute success – and also popular in the tuning sector. The example presented here received extensive customization.

The absolute highlight of the project vehicle built by BSR in the Czech Republic, a Barracuda and JMS vehicle parts base are the high-quality and extremely concave Dragoon rims. They come from the Ultralight Series from Barracuda Racing Wheels and are characterized by their low weight thanks to the flow forming process. The dimensions of the wheels in the Higloss Bronze finish are 10×20 inches (11.9 kilograms) all round and the associated Continental SportContact 7 tires measure 275/30ZR20. The perfect positioning of this combination under the fenders is due to the body being lowered by 35 millimeters using Eibach lowering springs.

Speaking of fenders: Thanks to a widebody kit, these are now significantly wider than in the standard version. Like the spoiler at the rear, the kit comes from JE Design. The eye-catching factor of the Formentor is further increased by its full foiling with a brushed aluminum look. Last but not least, BSR Tuning installed an increase in performance and an exhaust system from their own company. All modifications shown are available from JMS Fahrzeugteile.
