The trade fair took place this October 14-18, 2018 in Dubai (United Arab Emirates). The focus of the event was on the smart mini-industrial computer of the HARTING Technology Group – the HARTING MICA®, as well as its follow-on development, the miniMICA. The miniMICA is installed in the "Oasis", which visitors could wonder at on the stand of telecom provider Etisalat. The HARTING MICA® (Modular Industry Computing Architecture) was another focus of attention. With the MICA®, digitisation projects can be quickly and easily implemented directly on plants and machines.
"Visitor traffic was much stronger this year than in 2017. Our e-mobility solutions were especially attracting a great deal of interest since the United Arab Emirates are very committed to sustainability. All in all, I see good growth prospects for HARTING in the region over the next few years," concluded Nimmesgern.
The HARTING Technology Group is one of the world’s leading providers of industrial connection technology for the three lifelines of Data, Signal and Power and has 13 production plants and branches in 44 countries.
