Positive response and numerous enquiries: technotrans SE records a success with its appearance at this year’s China International Medical Equipment Fair (CMEF) in Shanghai and strengthens its market presence in China. The thermal management specialist presented the modular ECOtec.chiller cooling system, Peltier cooling units and particularly compact miniature coolers with compressor technology at the exhibition from May 14 to 17.

"With our second appearance at CMEF, we have once again positioned ourselves as a strong international partner for the Chinese medical technology industry," says Andreas Seifert, Business Development Director (Asia, technotrans Taicang, China). "The positive feedback and numerous enquiries from customers and interested parties underpin the growing importance of precise cooling and temperature control technology in demanding medical technology processes."

technotrans presented several flexible solutions at the trade fair, including the ECOtec.chiller. This is available in the pure series as a cost-optimised standard option and xtend as a highly flexible high-end option. The modular cooling system is particularly suitable for MRI applications and is characterised by a high degree of energy efficiency, power density and operational reliability. Thanks to a compact design, it can be used in a space-saving manner at the place of installation. Thanks to numerous equipment options, the cooling system can be adapted to specific requirements – for example, with additional cooling circuits, media or an open-air function.

In addition, technotrans presented miniature compressor cooling systems and devices based on Peltier technology for smaller cooling capacities, which are in demand for example for medical laser applications. The areas of application for technotrans products include a wide variety of applications in the fields of laboratory and analysis technology and life sciences. The technology group’s special solutions also met with great interest. "With the increasing complexity and precision of applications, especially in the minimally invasive field, the demands on thermal management are also rising. Thanks to our many years of know-how in the medical field, we are able to deliver customised solutions that ensure a process-specific temperature level at all times," Seifert emphasises.
