Connected solutions in the industry – but secure!

"Industrial Transformation – Energizing a Sustainable Industry" is the theme of the 2024 Hannover Messe. The event will take place at the Hanover Exhibition Centre from April 22 to 26. Companies from the engineering, electronics and digital industries, as well as the energy sector will be presenting their solutions for the production and energy provision of tomorrow.
The topics being covered include Industry 4.0, Manufacturing-X and automation, as well as artificial intelligence and machine learning.

achelos will be showcasing its extensive portfolio of security engineering services and individual key management solutions for connected manufacturing on the Industrial Security Circus joint stand (Stand A12 (20) in Hall 16). Everyone is talking about the Cyber Resilience Act (CRA) and IEC 62443. On the trade fair stand, achelos will be addressing the associated requirements and showing how these can be met.

Cyber security testing

Transport Layer Security (TLS) and Internet Key Exchange (IKE)/Internet Protocol Security (IPsec) are recognised standards that form the basis for secure IT networks. However, implementation and configuration are both highly complex and can offer loopholes for attackers if not performed correctly. The achelos test suites TLS Inspector and IKE/IPsec Inspector help detect and then close these loopholes. The security test suites from achelos can, for example, be used to test cloud communication to ensure a secure configuration.
