TÜV SÜD acquires Danish market leader Domutech A/S

In the Real Estate and Infrastructure Division, TÜV SÜD offers comprehensive services for the entire life cycle of real estate. Recently, the company has bolstered its commitment to sustainable building practices through strategic acquisitions, such as the US-based Sustainable Investment Group (SIG) and Green Building Education Systems (GBES) in May 2024.

Domutech, founded in 2009, has rapidly grown to become Denmark’s market leader in property inspections, energy performance certifications and tech-enabled solutions, employing 194 professionals across Copenhagen, Odense and Aarhus. The company’s offerings are segmented into residential and commercial services, focusing on property inspections, energy performance certifications, digital solutions, and advisory services for property transactions and portfolio management.

With the acquisition of Domutech, TÜV SÜD is further positioning itself as a leader in this field, entering the Danish market and extending its global footprint in the green building segment. Furthermore, Domutech will serve as a starting point for establishing Building Life Cycle Services in Denmark and on neighbouring markets, with an emphasis on sustainability and TIC services, including civil, structural, electrical and mechanical services.
