Gold and silver have risen considerably in price since the beginning of the year. Further potential is expected, especially for silver. The finder of the Golden Owl is sure to be pleased. Former rally driver and puzzle inventor Paul Régis Hauser buried a replica of the Golden Owl and published a treasure hunt guide. The original lay dormant in a safe deposit box and is now worth around 150,000 euros or more. At the time, the search was expected to take two years, but as one of the longest treasure hunts in the world, it lasted around 31 years. Thousands of treasure hunters were involved. It is not yet known who found it and where. The price of silver has risen by more than 40 percent this year. But this massive upward movement will probably not be the last. There is widespread agreement that the demand for silver will continue to rise. Modern technologies, such as those used in electronic devices or particularly necessary in the photovoltaic sector, will continue to fuel silver consumption. The all-time high for the price of silver is still USD 50 per ounce, but this could soon change.

The price of gold has been on an upward trend since the end of June. After a correction, the price of the precious metal took off again at the beginning of October. Even if a consolidation phase now follows, gold investors should do everything right, as the fundamentals for gold remain good.
Sibanye-Stillwater – https://www.commodity-tv.com/ondemand/companies/profil/sibanye-stillwater-ltd/ -, for example, produces gold and platinum metals in South Africa and the USA. Battery metals and uranium as a by-product are also on the company’s agenda.
