SMA ranks 6th in the Global 100 Index of the world’s most sustainable companies

"We are delighted that the experts at Corporate Knights have once again included SMA in the top group of the world’s most sustainable companies," said Jürgen Reinert, CEO of SMA. "We are particularly proud that, in this independent and purely fact-based ranking, we managed to climb four places compared to the previous year. The excellent ranking is a nice acknowledgment of our achievements to date and inspires us to continue pursuing and developing our ambitious sustainability goals."

According to Corporate Knights, the Global 100 companies represent the top group worldwide in terms of sustainability performance. To compile the 2025 ranking, Corporate Knights assessed 8,359 global companies on the basis of up to 25 sustainability indicators such as sustainable sales, sustainable investments, consideration of sustainability goals in management board remuneration and diversity in management and supervisory bodies. The key figures were weighted differently in order to reflect the impact profile of each sector individually.
