TractEasy, global leader in autonomous material handling solutions, and SYNAOS, leading provider of a central fleet management software for mobile robots, have joined forces to enhance automated material handling solutions. This partnership brings together two innovative technologies to create seamless, intelligent logistics operations.

Integrating multiple AGV suppliers and technologies into a single fleet management system was one of the last challenges in scaling industrial automation without losing the inherent advantages each AGV may have to offer. SYNAOS and TractEasy are excited to announce this challenge has been overcome: now, indoor and outdoor AGVs can operate in harmony while retaining the inherent navigational and safety features of advanced AGV’s like TractEasy’s EZTow, an autonomous tow tractor capable of both indoor and outdoor operations.

The ability of EZTow to operate outdoors is a key advantage, filling a gap in SYNAOS’ existing partner ecosystem and expanding its reach beyond traditional indoor use cases.

“This partnership allows our customers to expand their autonomous operations to outdoor material flows with confidence knowing TractEasy’s autonomous towing solutions will seamlessly integrate with existing indoor AGVs using the all-in-one and one-for-all SYNAOS Intralogistics Platform” said Rich Reno, CEO at TractEasy. “Together, we are providing a powerful, scalable solution that enhances efficiency, safety and flexibility in material handling.”

The collaboration will focus on ensuring seamless technical compatibility between TractEasy’s autonomous technology and SYNAOS’ central fleet management software. The partnership marks a significant step toward delivering a robust, future-ready solution for automated logistics.

“This collaboration is a perfect match, as both TractEasy and SYNAOS share a strong track record in automation technologies and pursue a similar vision for the future of intralogistics,” said Dr. Wolfgang Hackenberg, CEO and co-founder of SYNAOS. “With TractEasy’s expertise in autonomous vehicle technology and our intralogistics platform’s capabilities in orchestrating material flows with mobile robots, forklifts, and shopfloor workers, we are jointly taking a significant next step towards digitalizing intralogistics solutions while putting the customers‘ needs for efficiency and flexibility first.”

The partnership underscores both companies’ commitment to driving innovation in automation and delivering greater efficiency to logistics operations worldwide.
