DoorBird IP video door intercoms can now be integrated into the myGEKKO home automation system. Various devices can be connected to each other via the myGEKKO interface. The new integration enables a truly connected smart home.

The myGEKKO automation system regulates, optimizes and controls all components of the intelligent home environment. Developed by Ekon, the myGEKKO system uses an intuitive graphical user interface that can be flexibly adapted to the needs of home owners and tenants. Integrators can easily implement rules and controls without complicated programming.

Thanks to the new interface solution, the IP intercom’s functions can be configured and operated via the building automation system. When a visitor rings the DoorBird intercom, residents can see, speak with the visitor and grant access via the myGEKKO Slide indoor station. The door or garage door can also be opened comfortably by touch. All these features remain available, remotely, through the DoorBird App via a smartphone, tablet or the IP indoor station from the manufacturer Bird Home Automation.

Residents can connect the smart door station, for example, with the alarm system, lighting and heating directly in the automation system. The DoorBird intercom camera and motion detector also become part of the myGEKKO unified intelligent home environment making the residence even more comfortable and secure.
