The Blockchain Technology Conference gives deep insights into a world augmented by distributed ledger technology; it features in-depth sessions and workshops on principles, programming techniques and real-world applications.

For the second time Blockchain Technology Conference (BCC) opens its doors in Berlin: From 11th to 13th November participants will dive into blockchain-related topics such as smart contracts, cutting edge cipher algorithms, dApps, peer-to-peer networks and learn how to build, manage and deploy blockchain applications.

Topics and Highlights

The program is split into several topics depending on existing knowledge and interest: Blockchain Technology 101, Blockchain Advanced Development, and Blockchain Impact & Strategy.

Blockchain Technology 101

This track provides a full 360-degree introduction to blockchain technology and is well-designed to learn about underlying principles such as game theory, peer-to-peer networks, and cipher algorithms. This track is dedicated to developers and analysts who want to tap into the blockchain market.

Blockchain Advanced Development

This track is meant for those who are ready to leverage their business model with blockchain technology. It provides meaningful real-life examples of blockchain applications beyond the technical lingo. Experts will walk through their blockchain projects and share their know-how.

Blockchain Impact & Strategy

Blockchain technology has the potential to substantially enhance the way businesses and institutions interact with each other. The very concept of trust has been redefined and crucially: distributed. What does that mean for organizations and how will it impact them? This track helps building a further strategic understanding of blockchain technology.

Highlights

Keynotes and workshops are a highlight of each conference since they deal with general problems and give compact insights into a certain topic.

At the upcoming BCC, Galya Westler from Plazus Technology Inc. will share in her keynote real use cases implementing blockchain in cross-border payments and HR functions.

In the full-day workshop “Developing æpps on æternity Blockchain using Sophia Language” on monday participants will learn the principles behind the æternity architecture as well as learn how to build basic smart contracts on the platform through Sophia.
