Since no on-site seminars can take place currently, various online training courses will be offered by DYNAmore until the end of the exceptional situation caused by the coronavirus. "Our seminars and training courses are very important for our customers and for us. Therefore we decided to offer as much content as possible as online courses and webinars", explains Dr. Maik Schenke, responsible for training organization at DYNAmore.
In addition to the webinars already offered, there will be webinars on various topics relating to LS-DYNA and LS-OPT. The approximately one-hour webinars can be found under the motto "DYNAmore Express" on the website at https://www.dynamore.de/en/training/seminars. Participation is free of charge.
The following webinars will be offered in the next weeks:
- April 9th at 10:30 a.m.
Simulating Thermal-Mechanical Coupled Processes with LS-DYNA – New Coupling Schemes, Boundary Conditions, Contact Algorithms and Materials - April 17th at 9:00 a.m
Overview on LS-TaSC and new features in version 4.1 - April 24th at 9:00 a.m.
Envyo – Mapping capabilities and recent developments
Another free offer is a multipart webinar of the course "Introduction to LS-DYNA". The webinar series summarizes the most important topics of the introductory seminar. The offer is aimed at simulation engineers without previous knowledge and provides a quick introduction to LS-DYNA and LS-PrePost. The focus of the webinar is on the basics of simulation technology. In addition, an insight into the structure of LS-DYNA input decks as well as frequently used element types and contact definitions will be provided. Practical examples are used to deepen the technical background of the course. The course will take place on the following dates for two hours each:
- April 14th from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m.
Theoretical background and LS-DYNA basics - April 15th from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m.
Element types - April 16th from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m.
Contact definition possibilities

In addition to the free offers, the course "Introduction to LS-DYNA" will also be offered permanently as an online seminar. For this purpose we recorded the three-day seminar in Stuttgart. The content of the recording corresponds to the original seminar held. There are a total of eleven chapters that can be viewed separately. Please register via the DYNAmore website at www.dynamore.de/intro-lsdyna-complete. After payment of the seminar fees the participants will receive the seminar documents by mail. Access to the videos will be granted with the seminar confirmation.
Also available as an online seminar is the course "Crashworthiness Simulation with LS-DYNA", held by Paul Du Bois. The four-day seminar in Stuttgart was also recorded, so that there are no differences in content to the original course. The registration and more information can be found here: www.dynamore.de/crash-online-e.
Both online seminars are held in English. For VAT reasons, the online seminars are only available to commercial customers. Students and private persons are excluded from participation.
We regularly inform about further new offers and other news about our products and services in our Infomail, the DYNAmore Newsletter. Please register at www.dynamore.de/en/news/newsletter.
We hope all LS-DYNA users will find a suitable webinar or seminar in our offer. Keep well and stay healthy.
DYNAmore is dedicated to support engineers in solving nonlinear mechanical as well as multiphysical problems numerically. The product portfolio includes the finite element solver LS-DYNA, the pre- and post-processor LS-PrePost and the optimization software LS-OPT as well as numerous finite element models needed for crashworthiness simulation. The main field of activity is to sell, teach, support, and co-develop the software LS-DYNA and LS-OPT.
In addition, DYNAmore provides engineering services for numerical analysis and integrate simulation software in the CAE environment. DYNAmore offers training including seminars, workshops, webinars, support and information days as well as LS-DYNA user conferences. More detailed information can also be found on our support and tutorial websites. DYNAmore is one of the first addresses for pilot studies and development projects with respect to the simulation of nonlinear dynamic problems. You will find DYNAmore in Stuttgart, Dresden, Ingolstadt, Berlin, Langlingen, Wolfsburg, Zurich (CH), Linköping (S), Gothenburg (S), Versailles (F), Turin (I) and Dublin, Ohio (USA).
