With this successful certification for a manufacturer ranking among the global top ten, TÜV Rheinland can now add another well-known reference for its certification activities. Ming Yang is an important Chinese wind turbine manufacturer focusing on the design, manufacture, sale and maintenance of wind turbines in the Megawatt class. In terms of installed capacity, Ming Yang is one of the largest wind turbine manufacturers in the world and the largest private wind turbine manufacturer in China. The China General Certification Center (CGC) is one of the leading certification bodies in the renewable energy sector in China under the management of the National Institute of Metrology (NIM) and was authorized in 2003 by the Certification and Accreditation Administration of the People’s Republic of China (CNCA).
