INAM, the Innovation Network for Advanced Materials, is pleased to announce that eight new members have joined their network in the Second Quarter (Q2) of 2020. Coming from industry, research and the startup sectors, the new members bring new possibilities of collaboration and cooperation to the Advanced Materials network.

INAM is a global network of companies and research institutes in the field of Advanced Materials. Their mission is to support innovative ideas, products and processes in the field of Advanced Materials with the aim to accelerate the global market entry of technology innovations by providing access to infrastructure and collaboration between corporates, startups and research institutions.

JX Nippon Mining and Metals is a well-known global enterprise which operates as a subsidiary of JXTG Holdings, a Japanese petroleum and metals conglomerate. JX Nippon Mining and Metals develops, mines, smelts, refines, and markets non-ferrous metals such as copper, gold, and silver. Garnet is a high-technology company developing magnetooptics and photonics solutions for industries. Memetis a spin-off of Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT), provides foil-based shape memory alloy (SMA) micro actuators for a variety of industries. MQS – Molecular Quantum Solutions provides computational tools to accelerate research & development efforts by the pharma, biotech and chemical industry. Project CerAMing, a startup supported by The Bundesanstalt für Materialforschung und -prüfung (BAM), is developing a 3D printer for industrial ceramic production.
