Organized by Tarsus México, EXPO MANUFACTURA® INTELIGENTE had implemented strict sanitary measures and local and international security protocols for the benefit of exhibitors, speakers, visitors, suppliers and all who are part of the exhibition.
While the show was much smaller than past years due to travel restrictions, the companies who did participate felt it important to show their machines, products and services in a face to face environment. 109 companies presented 250 brands to a total attendance of 2761.
Attendees came from 24 different Mexican states, however 87% came from the major northern manufacturing region. International participation was small due to COVID-19, but still visitors from Brazil, Colombia, Germany, South Korea, the US and Venezuela made their way down to Monterrey.
Beside the live portion of the event a digital platform for exhibitors who were unable to participate live due to travel and company restrictions could upload their information for all interested buyers. This digital portion was accessible for everyone at no costs whether they attended the live event or not. Another 2841 people visited the platform during the week of Expo Manufactura and it is open for another 3 months.
Visitors and exhibitors expressed their confidence in the safety measures in place and were happy to be back to work in a trade show environment. Based on feedbacks from the exhibitors and attendee analysis there was a significant increase of vistitors who are decision makers or who are strongly involved in the purchase process.
"We liked to participate because we generated quality leads", stated Carlos Roque from Mytec, a leader in instrumentation solutions for measurement, control and industrial automation.
Marta Cantabrana, Director General of 3C Metrology S.A., an exhibitor since many years, shared her positive impression about the event:" Without a doubt Expo Manufactura Inteligente 2021 will spearhead the economic awaking. This event allowed us to present live to potential clients our latest developments in dimensional metrology."
Next year February 15-17 Expo Manfactura will formally celebrate the 25th edition as the leading manufacturing trade show in Mexico’s north.
