Rotec Engineering supports customers with specialist engineering knowledge in problems relating to torsional vibration analyses on engines, transmissions and powertrains and provides advice on metrological issues. The range of services includes transmission error (TE) measurement, gearbox optimization, powertrain optimization, and metrology application.
A core competence of Rotec Engineering is the development of individual special sensors for speed recording. In Rotec’s current case study, miniaturized sensors from Rotec Engineering are developed and used to perform a speed measurement on the roller tappet bearing. The challenge is to develop a sensor technology that is suitable for tight spaces and extreme conditions such as high temperature and oily environments. The case study can be downloaded from the news section of the website www.rotec-munich.de/en/news/.
Vispiron Rotec, headquartered in Munich, has been the world’s leading company since 1988. It offers sophisticated measurement technology and engineering services for torsional vibration analysis as well as complex measurement tasks. It belongs to the Vispiron Group.
Rotec measurement engineers use Rotec measurement technology for investigations and analyses of powertrains, transmissions, turbines, rollers or cylinders. For this purpose, speed, acoustic, analog and CAN signals are measured on individual components and evaluated with a common time base.
Rotec Engineering is a team of specialists for consulting and project management of complex measurement tasks.
Rotec serves the energy and automotive industries as well as shipbuilding, mechanical engineering, plant construction and the heavy-duty industry.
